- The $15,000 scholarship reduces the total estimated cost of tuition for the entire master’s degree to $36,900. Scholarship recipients who participate in Hofstra’s Computer Science Co-op program could potentially reduce their estimated total cost of tuition to $0 - $16,900 by recovering tuition costs before graduating.
- The Co-op program offers students the opportunity to gain paid, full-time work experience (CPT) for a period of 6 to 8 months during their studies, earning an estimated $20,000 - $40,000, without affecting total OPT time.
- As a STEM-designated degree, graduates from this program will have the option to work full-time during their OPT for up to 3 years.
- 100% of 2021-2022 MS in Computer Science degree recipients from Hofstra were employed within a year of graduation. 91% of graduates were employed within 3 months of graduation. The average annual starting salary for these graduates was $109,667.
